Armin Bidarian Moniri is Ear Nose Throat Consultant and Professor at the University of Algarve in Portugal. He is the author of many scientific papers and reviewer at several medical journals. He has been personally endorsed by Queen Silvia of Sweden at a ceremony at the Royal Palace for his research. Moniri is an ENT-consultant with a broad range of interests such as Functional and Aesthetic Facial and Nasal Sugery, Functional Surgery of the Paranasal Sinuses and Ears, Salivary Gland Surgery, Paediatric ENT, Vertigo and Voice Disorders. Moniri started his PhD studies at the Sahlgrenska Academy in 2008 under the supervision of Associate Professor Hasse Ejnell. He defended his thesis entitled “Two New Non-invasive Treatment Methods for Otitis Media with Effusion in Children and Obstructive Sleep Apnoea” at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden in May 2014. As inventor Moniri has two patents for his new treatment methods: "Pillow and Mattress for Reducing Snoring & Sleep Apnoea " and "Device for Equalization of the Pressure in the Middle Ear". Both treatment methods will be available on the European market in 2015. Moniri has received several grants and scholarships for his scientific work. He is in fact the only person who has ever received 2 grants simultaneously from the Swedish Innovationsbron for innovative thinking and research. Moniri is currently working in the Algarve region of Portugal and the Västra Götaland region of Sweden
